Arlin Horton

The Vision for Rejoice Radio

In the early 1970’s, God placed a desire on the heart of Dr. Arlin Horton to start a Christian radio station for listeners along the upper Gulf Coast. On June 21, 1971, WPCS began operation. And in December 1996, WPCS expanded its outreach by broadcasting the Rejoice Broadcast Network on its first satellator station in Eugene, Oregon.

Now, through the financial support of its listeners, Rejoice Radio is broadcast on almost 40 stations and the Internet, reaching listeners across America and around the world. Rejoice Radio continues the vision of broadcasting Christian music and programming to encourage believers and provide a gospel witness in the community. As we look forward to what the Lord will continue to do through this listener-supported Christian radio ministry, we can only say, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done.”

Comment from Rosemary in Idaho

“I just want you to know what a round-the-clock blessing your radio station is to me. I am so thankful for the stronger signal now through KRRB Kuna-Boise where I hear you on 88.1 FM. . . So many times, when I turn on your station, JUST THE RIGHT song or scripture is being given. What a blessing.”
